Psychology Network was founded by Dr Joshua Carritt-Baker MA(Oxon) DClinPsych CPsychol.
He is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in accordance with the professional practice guidelines of the British Psychological Society (membership number 098337). He graduated in Psychology and Philosophy from Oxford University before starting work in the NHS in 1996. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Canterbury Christ Church University College.
Dr Carritt-Baker founded and runs other innovative psychological services. In 2004, he launched a specialist service for anxious and traumatised drivers in conjunction with an advanced driving instructor. He also operates Child Potential Profiling, a non-clinical service for parents who want to know if their children could be doing better at school.
He has contributed and acted as consultant to a number of television programmes. These include Channel 4's 'The A to Z of your Head', winner of the Young People's Programme category in the Mental Health Media Awards 2005.
He works in private practice primarily in the South East area.
He is an associate of John McKeown Associates, a firm with extensive experience in providing assessment and treatment services to children and adults, and has practising privileges at The Priory Ticehurst House, one of the The Priory Group of hospitals, where he works with children, young people and adults.
